FUNNY how sports stars can stay stum when it suits them, or they're told to.
Former England cricketer Freddie Flintoff appeared at World Travel Market but had nothing to say about the game that has turned him into a rich personality.
Journalist James Ellis wanted to ask Freddie about the jailing of the cheating Pakistani cricketers, exposed by my old paper the News of the World. Well, being a good reporter you would, wouldn't you?
But Freddie's agent wasn't having any of it. The batsman wasn't even commenting on England's game against Pakistan next January, despite the fact that it is being played in Dubai and Freddie was on the Dubai stand promoting the destination!
Bemused James said: "If you are a cricketer and you are happy to be interviewed, surely you should be able to talk about cricket."
Time you played the game, Freddie.
