Kids wants hol with Cheryl Cole!
Forget it mum, your kids would rather go on holiday with Cheryl Cole.
And if they couldn't have the former X Factor judge, they would choose contestants One Direction, followed by fellow boyband JLS and hunky Ollie Murs.
New judge Tulisa and singer Jessie J are also holiday favourites for the eight to 16-year-olds surveyed by Teletext Holidays.
As none of the celebs would dream of taking a sunshine break with a load of spotty teenagers, the kids are stuck with their parents.
But they do at least talk to one another. Over half the kids said their parents consulted them about where the family should holiday and two-thirds thought the best way to book was by the internet followed by mobiles and smart phones. Only 16 per cent backed going to a travel agent.
The majority wouldn't dream of going away without their iPod, mobile or Nintendo DS but they do think about the environment with half the kids polled believing travel companies will need to be greener in 10 years.
Victoria Sanders, MD of Teletext Holidays (www.teletextholidays.co.uk) said: “Understanding how families make decisions about where they go on holiday is an important consideration in the booking process.
