Me with Mayor Carolyn, husband Oscar and those dancing girls

WHAT happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Well, not if the city's new mayor Carolyn Goodman has anything to do with it.
She breezed into World Travel Market at London's Excel with two busty showgirls in tow, determined to get noticed.
Mind you, she's learned from the master of publicity - her outspoken husband Oscar was mayor for the past 12 years, serving three terms so had to give up.
It is the first time in America that a wife has succeeded her husband as mayor.
Handing over her business card, in the shape of a poker chip, Carolyn said: "There's no place as grand as Las Vegas, it is bursting with energy and excitement.
"British holidaymakers are very important to us and I will ensure that the welcome you get is better than ever before."
Las Vegas felt the pinch like every other holiday destination during the recession but it is bouncing back and still spending money.
The city is building a £1.5 billion extra terminal at the airport and a £350 million new retail and entertainment district on the Strip will include the world's biggest ferris wheel which, at 550ft, will be 100ft taller than the London Eye!
Elton, Rod Stewart and Celine Dion are still performing to sell-out audiences and Shania Twain has been signed up too.
Oh, and a Mob Museum opens in February so you can learn about the battles between the Mafia and law enforcers.
And believe what you see...former mayor Oscar used to be a lawyer for the mob so it's all bound to be true!
